Job summary

Office Angels in Kettering is seeking a Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations and contribute to strategic decision-making in a growing SME.

You will manage cash flow, budgeting and forecasting, deliver management information and KPIs, partner with department managers, and lead a small finance team. ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent preferred, multi-currency experience a plus.

Qualifications

• A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Experience in SME or privately-owned business environment.
• Proficiency in cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Familiarity with financial systems and process improvements.
• Experience in multi-currency or international business environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily finance function, encompassing cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and implementing financial controls.
• Generate meaningful management information, financial reports, and KPIs to support commercial and strategic decisions.
• Partner with departmental managers to enhance business processes and drive operational performance.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a small finance team.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Support broader business planning and financial strategy.
