Description
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the full finance function: invoicing, cash posting, journals
- Lead monthly reporting: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow & insightful MI
- Cashflow forecasting and debtor management
- Payroll processing & compliance (UK & US)
- Drive cost management & financial controls
- Collaborate with outsourced finance partners to ensure global compliance
- Manage statutory filings and tax returns (with external support as needed)
- Identify and mitigate financial risk with a robust control framework
- Lead ad hoc finance projects, including M&A, systems upgrades & process improvement
Your day to day role will include
- Overseeing Accounts Receivable & Payable from invoice prep to bank allocations
- Daily bank reconciliations and credit card management
- Month-end ownership including all journals, reconciliations & board pack input
- Revenue matching, payroll journal entries, VAT reconciliation
- Reporting KPIs to CFO, with deep dives into performance drivers
Profile
What you will bring to the role:
- An accredited degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Ideally you will have some accountancy exams under your belt, MAAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for process improvement and financial rigour
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling)
- Experience processing payroll a strong plus
