Description

What You'll Be Doing

1. Manage the full finance function: invoicing, cash posting, journals
2. Lead monthly reporting: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow & insightful MI
3. Cashflow forecasting and debtor management
4. Payroll processing & compliance (UK & US)
5. Drive cost management & financial controls
6. Collaborate with outsourced finance partners to ensure global compliance
7. Manage statutory filings and tax returns (with external support as needed)
8. Identify and mitigate financial risk with a robust control framework
9. Lead ad hoc finance projects, including M&A, systems upgrades & process improvement

Your day to day role will include

1. Overseeing Accounts Receivable & Payable from invoice prep to bank allocations
2. Daily bank reconciliations and credit card management
3. Month-end ownership including all journals, reconciliations & board pack input
4. Revenue matching, payroll journal entries, VAT reconciliation
5. Reporting KPIs to CFO, with deep dives into performance drivers

Profile

What you will bring to the role:

1. An accredited degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
2. Ideally you will have some accountancy exams under your belt, MAAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA
3. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
4. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
5. Passion for process improvement and financial rigour
6. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modelling)
7. Experience processing payroll a strong plus

Job Offer

1. A competitive salary ranging from £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
