A healthcare organization in Surrey is looking for a motivated finance professional for a Development Role Band 7/8a. This position offers the opportunity to manage budgets, provide financial planning, and support business initiatives while progressing from a Band 7 to a Band 8a role based on qualifications. Ideal candidates are CCAB or CIMA qualified, ensuring high-quality patient care through effective financial management.

This role will start as a band 7 and will progress to an 8a once criteria is met.
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust Finance Team are looking to appoint a highly motivated finance professional who will work as an integral link between finance and operational services.
This role is ideal for a recently qualified or final-year CCAB or CIMA professional to step into a band 7 or 8a role, depending on qualification and experience. At the Finance Manager development role (band 7), we will support your progression into a Finance Manager (band 8a) following an agreed pathway.
This is a key and exciting role where your financial expertise will be fully utilized to ensure the Trust delivers safe, effective, and high-quality patient care within the available financial resources.
The ideal candidate should be CCAB/CIMA qualified or at the final level and have comprehensive financial management experience within the NHS.
