Main duties of the job
  • Work as a member of the costing team, addressing NHS England (NHSE) 'Future of Costing' programme and other costing developments.
  • Lead the annual National Cost Collection (NCC) and Education & Training returns.
  • Assist in preparing timely and accurate statutory and non-statutory returns for stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Essential: AAT Member with significant relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Essential: Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Desirable: Fully Qualified Accountant (CCAB or equivalent).
Experience/Skills
  • Essential: Over five years' experience in a large organisation's finance department, preferably NHS.
  • Essential: Ability to focus on complex calculations for long periods.
  • Essential: Expert knowledge of NHS costing, NCC, and training costs guidance.
  • Essential: Strong analytical skills with large data sets.
