Une prestigieuse université recherche un Finance Manager/Coordinator pour un contrat temporaire d'environ 3 mois. Le candidat idéal doit être un comptable de gestion qualifié ou en voie de qualification, capable de gérer les comptes de manière autonome. Ce poste exige également une interaction avec plusieurs parties prenantes pour assurer l'atteinte des objectifs de reporting et de conformité financière. Le télétravail est permis 3 jours par semaine.

Qualifications

  • Poste réservé aux comptables de gestion qualifiés ou en cours de qualification.
  • Connaissance d'Oracle Fusion souhaitée.
  • Expérience en management accounting est essentielle.

Responsibilities

  • Revue des projets de capital et collaboration avec les chefs de projet.
  • Préparer les journaux de recharge, accrual et prépaiements.
  • Compléter les tâches de fin d'année dans les délais.

Job description

Durham University are looking for a Finance Manager/Coordinator to temporarily join their team for a period of circa 3 months.

The Finance Manager/Coordinator will be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The position will take ownership of the management accounting for assigned divisions, being involved in forecasting and planning as well as facilitating financial compliance. The role will have line management responsibilities. The Finance Manager will have key involvement with wider colleagues and stakeholders to take forward objectives for project management reporting, capital accounting, and management accounts delivery.

Typical duties will include:

  • Review of capital projects and working with Project Managers to obtain information for capitalisation of assets and identification of key cashflows;
  • Month-end and year-end reviews of purchase orders, goods receipts, and aged debts;
  • Preparing recharge, accrual and prepayment journals;
  • Financial data gathering for regulatory returns;
  • Completion of year-end tasks to deadlines.

The role holder will be a qualified or part-qualified management accountant and knowledge of Oracle Fusion would be advantageous.

The role supports hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 WFH.
