Qualifications

Agility Resourcing is working exclusively on exciting opportunity to join a Private Equity backed business as Financial Controller. The role of Financial Controller will be employed by the English subsidiary of the Group and will oversee the financial management of all the English subsidiary companies. This will be a significant role to get into private equity-backed business with lots of change and challenges and could suit an ambitious Financial Controller.

Duties will include

  • Oversee the production of monthly accounts and management information
  • Responsible for the annual external audit process and statutory accounts production
  • Build relationships with auditors, banks and external relationships
  • Have full ownership of the P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, controls and drive process improvements
  • Partner senior stakeholders and board in presenting and explaining financial information and performance of the business
  • Being the financial lead on bids/tenders and new acquisitions

The successful Financial Controller will have a minimum of 5 years' experience and who is looking for their next position in a growth sector and has the confidence to work independently in a peer group of industry experts. The ideal candidate must have the strength of character to challenge the norm and enjoy working in a hands-on and developing business where they will influence the board.
