Description

We are working exclusively with a Manchester-based education company. Due to COVID-19, you will be working from home for the foreseeable future.

Due to rapid growth, they are seeking a permanent Finance Controller / Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the office and manage the department's workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to lead in a growing organization. The company offers worldwide travel and short secondments to overseas offices to lead projects and share best practices.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with the ability to work independently and take initiative, as support may not always be immediately available due to time zone differences. The role requires adapting to a fast-paced environment, challenging the status quo, and embracing change as part of success.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Working independently, using initiative, and implementing innovative processes and technology
  • Experience in payroll, taxation, and financial statement preparation
