Job summary

A growing creative production company in London is seeking a proactive Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, month-end close, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of accounting experience, preferably in media or entertainment, and be part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA). This role requires strong Excel skills and knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in media or entertainment.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Available on relatively short notice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation in line with GAAP & IFRS.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Manage accruals and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Job description

A growing creative production company is seeking a proactive Finance Manager to support the wider finance function during a period of transition. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will focus on financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and process improvement, while supporting audits and ad-hoc finance projects!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation in line with GAAP & IFRS

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and prepare related financial reports

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and manage accruals

• Identify and recommend improvements to finance processes

• Support financial audits and ensure compliance with tax requirements

• Oversee financial admin, including entity and bank account management

• Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks and special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred)

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in media or entertainment

• Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)

• Experience with NetSuite preferred

• Available on relatively short notice
