Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day finance operations including payroll, fees, and payments.

  • Prepare detailed management accounts, projections, and cashflow reporting.

  • Manage annual budgeting, financial statements, audits, and compliance tasks.

  • Oversee payroll processes, staffing budgets, and salary reporting systems.

  • Monitor pupil fees, handle debt recovery, treasury, and VAT returns.

  • Manage finances for College’s retail arm, including VAT and reporting.

  • Support departmental budgets, visa processes, parent communication, and governance.

  • Provide HR support on contracts, employment law, and staff welfare.

Who we are looking for:

  • Qualified accountant with broad post-qualification financial experience.

  • Self-motivated, detail-focused, organised, with strong numeracy.

  • Proficient in Excel, accounting software, online banking.

  • Experienced leader; payroll, charity, education, GDPR knowledge.
