Job summary

Techcare seeks its first finance hire to own the day-to-day finance cycle and work directly with the CEO. You’ll manage management accounts, cashflow, ledgers, VAT and payroll input, with a focus on billing accuracy and reconciling client and supplier charges.

As the business grows, you’ll provide profitability analysis by project and client, support pricing decisions, and help build structure in a lean organisation. Hybrid working after 6 months available at our Rugeley office.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified, finalist, or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent.
• Experience building management accounts to deadlines.
• Proficient in Xero and Excel.
• Able to challenge numbers and CEO when needed.
• Motivated to build processes in a start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce board management accounts with commentary by day 10.
• Forecast cashflow and manage ledgers.
• Oversee VAT and payroll input.
• Maintain billing accuracy with reconciliation of client and supplier charges.
• Analyze profitability by project and service line; advise pricing impact on P&L.
