As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Belfast finance department, supported by colleagues across the wider group. This is a varied role that will give you exposure to management reporting, audits, statutory compliance, and business partnering within a fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Preparation and analysis of quarterly management accounts
Annual budgets, cashflow forecasting, and performance tracking
Managing statutory reporting, tax compliance, and VAT returns
Overseeing external and regulatory audits (including Law Society audits)
Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Account Regulations and client money controls
Reviewing bank reconciliations and managing banking relationships
Supporting billing, creditor payments, and ad hoc financial queries from senior stakeholders
We\'re looking for a finance professional who is detail-driven, organised, and proactive, with strong stakeholder management skills.
Essential:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 2+ years\' post-qualification experience
Strong background in financial reporting and compliance
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
Desirable:
Experience in a professional services environment (legal, consultancy, accountancy, etc.)
Previous experience in a busy, fast-paced finance department
