Job summary

VodafoneThree is recruiting a qualified accountant to lead end-to-end audit processes in Newbury. You will oversee statutory accounts, IFRS/FRS 101 compliance, and coordination of quarterly and annual Group reporting.

In this hybrid role, you will manage balance sheet reviews, strengthen controls, and drive continuous improvement across the finance function. Strong stakeholder management and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA or equivalent
• Strong IFRS/FRS 101 knowledge
• Proven stakeholder management skills
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint capabilities

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end audit process from planning to completion across multiple entities.
• Oversee preparation/review of statutory accounts ensuring IFRS/FRS 101 compliance.
• Review quarterly/annual Group reporting; ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Lead balance sheet reviews, monitor movements and ensure reconciliations and governance.
• Promote strong controls environment; support SOX compliance and control improvements.
• Support Finance transformation initiatives and automation projects.
