A prominent retail company in Liverpool is seeking a qualified accountant for the Group Consolidation role. The successful candidate will handle the production of statutory accounts and be involved in the year-end audit process. Applicants should have 3+ PQE and strong IFRS technical knowledge. The role sits within Group Consolidation, which is a pivotal team within The Very Group finance community. The team is responsible for the monthly consolidation and group reporting. The team also produces quarterly interim financial statements and the annual report for the group, ensuring quality and transparency of information for both internal and external stakeholders. The team also manages the year-end audit process and engages with teams across the business including Tax, Commercial Finance, Planning and Investor Relations.
We are seeking an ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant with 3+ PQE who is passionate, ambitious and down-to-earth with the following skillset;

1st stage - An informal 30-45 minute video call with the hiring team to discuss your skills and relevant experience. This is a great opportunity to find out more about the role and to ask any questions you may have.
2nd stage - A one-hour formal task based interview. This will be held in-person at our Liverpool office.
