Job summary

A leading Financial Services company is seeking a Finance Manager in Oxfordshire on a hybrid basis. The role involves managing financial reporting, leading audits, and supporting investor tax reporting. Candidates should be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2 years' experience. Excellent Excel skills and strong statutory accounts knowledge are essential. Proactiveness and analytical skills are required for this dynamic role.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of VAT and tax.

Job description

Finance Manager – Oxfordshire / hybrid– 12m Fixed Term Contract

I am working with a leading Financial Services company to find a talented Finance Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of funds and direct client accounts.

Working closely with fellow Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, and the Finance Director, you'll oversee financial reporting, audits, investor reporting, and process improvements. You’ll play a key role in enhancing client and fund performance through insight and analysis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage quarterly and statutory reporting for funds and managed accounts
  • Lead fund audits and support investor tax reporting
  • Ensure effective financial operations, controls, and banking processes
  • Support investment appraisal, valuations, and fundraising activity
  • Respond to investor queries and maintain return models

About you:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2 years’ PQ
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, ideally with knowledge of fund finance
  • Strong knowledge of statutory accounts, VAT and tax
  • Detail-oriented with excellent Excel skills
  • Confident communicator who learns quickly
