Join Our Client as a Finance Manager (12 Months FTC)!

Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? Our client is seeking a talented Finance Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in the vibrant area of Gosforth.

Position Overview:

  • Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
  • Location: Gosforth (Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
  • Working Hours: Flexi hours between 8 AM - 6 PM, 37.5 hours a week
  • Salary: 60,000 - 65,000
  • Free parking on-site

This role also offers an opportunity to progress to a Financial Controller for the right candidate.

As the Finance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in managing our client's monthly accounting cycles and cash-flow management while leading a dynamic finance team. This position is ideal for someone with a background in mid-tier accountancy firms or private practise, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash flow Forecasting: Produce accurate cash flow forecasts for the practise.
  • Working Capital Management: Control day-to-day working capital arrangements in line with the agreed plan.
  • Accounting Systems Maintenance: Maintain key data within the practises accounting systems.
  • Monthly Accounts: Produce monthly accounts for review by the Finance Director.
  • Year-End Summary Accounts: Prepare draught summary accounts information post-financial year, adhering to Partnership requirements.
  • Audit Coordination: Ensure the smooth running of the practises audit by providing necessary information and analysis to auditors.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Marketing Department to gather information for tenders and other submissions.

Interview Process:

  • Step 1: Virtual interview via Teams with the Finance Director.
  • Step 2: In-person interview with the Finance Director and Finance Lead.
