Who do we need, and why?

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join on a maternity cover to ensure the seamless continuity of our financial operations.

This role will own critical functions assisting with; professionalising our transaction cycles, and ensuring our rigorous month-end process continues to run smoothly.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager

This role will play a critical role in our operation stability and strategic decision making. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Improve the Order-to-cash cycle: By owning the full order-to-cash cycle (billing, revenue recognition, collections), they will ensure we are invoicing accurately and collecting cash efficiently, directly strengthening our financial position.
  • Enable Data-Driven Decisions: By project managing a timely and accurate month-end close to an audit ready standard, they will provide the leadership team with reliable financial data, which is crucial for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Owning Finance Operations: By managing sales tax compliance, payroll, and accounts payable, they will ensure we meet our statutory obligations, reducing financial and reputational risk as we grow.
  • Create Scalable Foundations: This individual will build and refine the processes that underpin our financial health, allowing the rest of the business to operate and expand with confidence.

  • Excellent at working cross functionally, specifically with the People team for payroll and GTM for order-to-cash.
  • A genuine interest and knowledge of the FinTech/Saas industry including nuances of SaaS accounting.
