Job summary

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to provide finance leadership for EU Same Day speed programs. You will lead analyses to enable fast, breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and improve program economics across EU5 operations.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role, office-based in Luxembourg, Madrid or London. You will partner with business, operations and finance teams to identify opportunities, build robust models and communicate insights clearly to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent.
• Experience in a finance role with cross-functional partnering.
• Strong Excel and data tooling (Python/SQL/Tableau) experience.
• Experience in financial modeling.

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to provide finance leadership for EU Same Day speed programs. In this role, you will be a core part of a small and fast growing team that is in charge of evaluating the launch of delivery programs allowing customers to benefit from speed and convenience across Amazon's selection. To build this rapidly growing business, the successful candidate must be passionate about enabling management to make breakthrough decisions through financial analyses, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers.

This is a 1 year (12 months) fixed-term contract. The role is office based in Luxembourg, Madrid or London.

You must have solid financial knowledge and business acumen while thinking strategically and dealing with ambiguity, constantly looking for insights from the numbers and communicating findings in a clear and concise manner. This role requires extensive partnership with various business, operations, transportation, and finance teams to identify areas of opportunities and generate improvements in program economics. This team works hard, has a great deal of fun, and definitely makes history!

Key job responsibilities

• Serve as a key financial leader for the Same Day speed programs operated in EU5
• Provide strategic guidance and decision support in this rapidly evolving space
• Influence cross-functionally to make sound business decisions, analyze opportunities, identify issues, and solve challenges
• Understand key business drivers to constantly look for insights from the data and push for improvement in program economics
• Communicate key inputs and findings in a crisp manner to drive decision-making
• Independently prepare financial analysis for key leaders in EU Stores and Operations leadership

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field
• Experience in a finance role including partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business
• Experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL, or Tableau
• Experience in financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced or master's degree in finance, economics, or mathematics, such as a CA, CMA, CWA, or MBA
• Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organization
• Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
