Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Finance / Accounts Manager Position in Wolverhampton

We are seeking an experienced Finance / Accounts Manager to join a retailer based in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, and supplier payments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Completing sales reconciliation, balancing, and posting for 3 branches
2. Producing management accounts
3. Calculating and paying corporation tax
4. Managing cash flow
5. Preparing budgets and conducting analysis
6. Daily bank postings
7. Providing daily sales reports to Directors
8. Leading the annual audit process
9. Completing monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
10. Preparing quarterly VAT returns and annual statements

Experience and Qualifications:

• AAT / ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Part-qualified candidates and QBE will be considered with at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Knowledgeable in Business Tax, including VAT
• Understanding of Income Tax and Pension schemes
• Experience with statutory payments
• Proficient with Sage 50 and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
