Job description

Are you looking for a progressive Finance Manager role? This is an office-based role in Bolton. You will be joining a welcoming team that provides a first-class maintenance, repair, and installation service to a wide variety of sectors across the UK for Automatic Gates, Barriers, Roller Shutters, Automatic Doors, Turnstiles, Speed Lanes, Bollards, Blockers, Perimeter Fencing and associated Access Control Systems. Finance Managers will receive a basic salary up to £45,000 plus benefits.

Basic Salary: up to £45,000 plus benefits.


As a Finance Manager, your role will include:

  1. Working closely with the Board to provide financial reporting, robust processes for payroll, payment authorisations, and offering a strong hands-on approach.
  2. Leading and coordinating preparation, review, and providing insights on management accounts.
  3. Performing reconciliation, analysis, and commentary for balance sheet accounts.
  4. Assisting with the preparation of management information and analysis.
  5. Contributing to year-end audit preparations and support.
  6. Managing monthly, quarterly VAT/PAYE/CIS and other similar tax return routines.
  7. Inputting and supporting the annual budget process.
  8. Preparing year-end statutory accounts and simple corporation tax computations.
  9. Supporting budgets and forecasts as required, including project cashflow forecasts.
  10. Developing and documenting internal/system controls and cross-departmental processes.
  11. Offering support and input into purchase/debtors/creditors ledger.
  12. Supporting the integration, accounting, and reporting of group entities when required.
