Finance Manager

Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role:

An esteemed hotel, part of a renowned independent group, is in search of a seasoned and proactive Hotel Finance Manager to lead its financial operations. This pivotal leadership role demands ensuring robust financial controls, precise reporting, and strategic support to the General Manager and the broader hotel management team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of the hotel's finance function, including month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

- Produce timely and accurate management accounts and financial statements.

- Prepare P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and performance insights.

- Manage cash flow and ensure optimal working capital control.

- Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.

- Ensure full compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory standards.

- Support department heads with budget management, cost tracking, and financial analysis.

- Lead a small finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.

- Contribute to strategic planning and business development decisions with financial insight.

Desirable Requirements:

- Proven experience in a hospitality or hotel finance environment.

- Strong working knowledge of hotel financial systems (e.g., Opera).
