Finance Manager - Offshore Accounting
The Finance Manager role is highly engaging and provides an excellent breadth of exposure to the fast-growing offshore wind farm business in the UK. The role comprises of the following main areas:
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner providing strategic, timely and accurate advice to management and internal stakeholders on all aspects of technical accounting and structuring for a large-scale project.
- Assist with other wind farm developments, operational initiatives, restructuring, acquisitions and divestments projects.
- Work within the accounting team to oversee the production of management accounts, statutory accounts and technical accounting advice in respect of wind farm companies.
- Oversee the financing of the companies, cash management and planning, quarterly reporting to the client, and liaising with auditors and co-investors where appropriate.
Must Have Skills
- Microsoft Excel - intermediate level
- Application of IFRS
- Organisation – self-motivated to develop own plan and good prioritisation of requirements
- Communication – able to discuss financial issues with both non-finance and finance experts, and grasp non-financial issues (e.g. legal and basic technical subject matter)
- Presentation - able to present information in a clear and concise manner, identifying the key information for the recipients
Qualifications / Certification
Qualified accountant with recognised accounting body - ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
