I am exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a growing UK business. This newly created role offers a great mix of team leadership, hands-on operational finance, and real scope to drive process improvements. You'll be working closely with a supportive, tenured motivated Financial Controller who supports career development.

About the Job:

1. Leading a small, friendly, tenured transactional finance team
2. Supporting the team with coaching and complex queries
3. Reviewing and improving AP/AR processes
4. Approving invoices, expenses, and card claims
5. Month-end duties: accruals, prepayments, journals
6. Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting support
7. Supporting budgeting and ad hoc projects
8. Liaising with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and auditors

1. £40,000 to £45,000 DOE
2. 25 days holiday + bank holidays

5. 35-hour week (Mon-Fri, 9-5)
6. Hybrid working (1-2 days from home after probation)

1. Experience leading or supervising a finance team
2. Strong AP, AR, and general ledger knowledge
3. Collaborative, hands-on approach with a people-first mindset
4. SME experience is a plus
