Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the Finance and Regulatory department, ensuring accurate processing, reporting, and compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, including variance analysis and consolidation.
• Oversee all accounting functions within the ERP system, including general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (OEB, IESO, Ministry of Energy) and serve as internal expert on regulatory codes.
• Collaborate on strategic financial planning, KPI monitoring, and board reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Provide leadership and development to the finance team.

Requirements:

• CPA certification is required
• Knowledge of IFRS
• At least 2 years managing a small team, industry or accounting firm
• Strong problem-solving skills
