Job summary

3D Personnel LTD is seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Finance All-Rounder to lead day-to-day financial operations, with emphasis on weekly payroll, management reporting and financial administration. You will report to the Finance Director and Managing Director in a fast-paced recruitment environment.

The role requires hands-on ownership, strong accounting knowledge, and collaboration with senior management to ensure accurate financial records and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Finance Officer or similar all-round finance role.
• Experience managing weekly payroll, ideally within recruitment, staffing or another temporary labour business.
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting.
• Good Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to work independently.
• AAT qualifications or progress towards ACCA/CIMA would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing weekly payroll for our temporary and contract workforce, including timesheets, starters, leavers and deductions.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers, invoicing and credit control.
• Managing bank reconciliations and supporting cash flow reporting.
• Supporting VAT returns, year-end accounts and compliance.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and accounting systems.
• Supporting wider business administration and HR-related tasks.
• Working closely with our recruitment consultants and management team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Finance Manager / Finance & Payroll Manager

3D Personnel is an established and growing recruitment business specialising in the Construction, Civil Engineering, M&E and Infrastructure sectors across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Finance All-Rounder to join our team and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our recruitment business. This is a varied, hands-on position, ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of their responsibilities and working closely with senior management.

The Role
