Finance Manager

After a successful seed round we are accelerating growth across the business and preparing for our Series A fundraise. To support that journey we are bringing finance in-house for the first time. This is your chance to design the systems, shape the insight and lay the foundations. Are you ready to run finance at a company redefining ethical luxury fashion?

What you will do

• Build and maintain financial models that inform strategic decisions
• Lead the annual budgeting cycle and keep rolling forecasts up to date
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual statements and board packs
• Analyse performance to highlight trends, risks and opportunities, then share clear recommendations
• Monitor and forecast cash flow, improving working capital where possible
• Oversee the complete monthly billing process for designers, ensuring accurate invoicing and effective query management
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations and month-end close
• Oversee payroll and ensure all UK and international filings are compliant
• Handle VAT, corporation tax and R&D claims, with an eye on future US requirements
• Maintain strong governance, manage audit relationships and document processes as we outgrow basic tools
• Partner with Marketing, E-Commerce and Partnerships teams, turning data into practical insight

About you

• Chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• Experience leading finance in a growing tech start-up or SME and a clear view of what good looks like at scale
• Ideally familiar with US finance processes and tax rules, or keen to learn fast
• Happy to run a lean finance desk where you move from reconciliations to strategy in one morning
• Advanced with spreadsheets and open to BI tools or SQL where useful
• Clear communicator who welcomes feedback and explains finance concepts simply
• Blend strategic thinking with hands-on delivery across reporting, forecasting and compliance
