Overview

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established company.

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Flexi Hours, Permanent.

Salary: Competitive Salary of £36,000 - £41,000 PA Depending on Experience.

Location: Orkney KW17.

About The Role

This role will be varied, covering all accounting processes. You need to be very organized, analytical, and able to problem solve and work independently using your own initiative. With excellent Excel and IT skills, you will be a key player in ensuring that the business flows smoothly and that optimum levels of customer service are maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management.
  • Advise senior management on strategic financial decisions.
  • Analyse financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and liaise with auditors and banks.
Candidate Requirements
  • A good working knowledge of Sage is essential; training can be provided to update skills if you have used other accounting software.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities; ability to work independently and use initiative.
