My client is a longstanding manufacturing business based in Salford turning over circa £30 million per year. Having been operating for over 60 years, they are well established in their sector and have a wealth of industry experience across their employees.
Job Description
Delivering monthly management accounts including analysis and insights
Ownership of the balance sheet and key reconciliations
Responsible for weekly accounts
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
Continuously improving processes and enhancing reporting systems
Commercial analysis - improving performance, data analysis utilising BI tools
Interpret financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to management
Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies
Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Support SLT where necessary
Support and develop financial and operational accountants
The Successful Applicant
Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA) / Qualified by Experience
Experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG desirable but not essential
