Job summary

Membership Bespoke, a UK environmental charity, is seeking a hands‑on Finance Manager in a hybrid role on the outskirts of Coventry. You will lead month‑end, journals, reconciliations and management accounts while maintaining payroll, VAT and Gift Aid streams.

You’ll partner with department leads to support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. The role also involves resolving reconciliation issues, ensuring audit readiness and line-managing a small finance team, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts, statutory reporting and compliance.
• Proficient with Business Central or similar finance systems.
• Ability to lead small teams and support non-finance colleagues.

A UK environmental charity is seeking a hands‑on Finance Manager The organisation has diverse income streams, a strong membership base. This role will suit someone confident managing day‑to‑day finance operations while improving processes, controls and reporting.

The Role

• Lead month‑end, journals, reconciliations and management accounts.
• Maintain continuity across payroll, payments, VAT, Gift Aid and membership income.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for departmental leads.
• Resolve TB/reconciliation issues and ensure audit readiness.
• Line manage a small finance team and act as a business partner across the charity.
• Strengthen systems and controls, including optimisation of Business Central.

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience across management accounts, statutory reporting and compliance.
• Confident user of Business Central or similar finance systems.
• Skilled in leading small teams and supporting non‑finance colleagues.
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and comfortable working independently.
• Part‑qualified, qualified or qualified by experience.
• Charity sector experience (SORP, grants, restricted funds) desirable.
