Job description

Brief role description:
The Finance Manager plays a key role in supporting the Head of Finance, contributing to the accurate and timely reporting of monthly financial statements. This position is responsible for overseeing the Sales and Purchase Ledgers across three UK entities, as well as handling various banking activities, including bank reconciliations and preparing suggested payment reports.
Additionally, the Finance Manager will oversee the full-time Finance Assistant, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible for the Sales & Purchase ledger of 3 UK entities.
Assisting with cash flow forecasting and statements.
Liaising with the finance departments of our international subsidiaries to ensure alignment and accuracy.
Perform monthly reconciliations for retail and fundraising activities.
Line manager responsibility of the finance assistant.
Prepare and issue monthly partnership invoices.

Essential experience requirements:
At least two years experience at Finance Manager level.
Experience of line management.

Desirable experience requirements:
Experience of working within the Charity sector.
Experience of using Access Financials.
