Job summary

St Edward's School in Poole is seeking an experienced Finance Manager (Grade G SCP 18 to 23) to support the Headteacher and School Business Manager in strategic and operational management. The role is part-time (30 hours per week) term-time with INSET days plus 5 days in holidays.

The post is permanent and offers a pro-rata salary range (£32,578 to £35,570) with actual salary £23,201 to £25,332. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong finance experience in a school context and

• Lead financial governance and reporting to inform decision making.
• Oversee financial planning within 40 weeks per year and 30 hours per week structure.
