A leading charity seeks a Finance Manager to ensure financial resilience. The successful candidate will manage the organization's finances, from bookkeeping to reporting, and work closely with senior personnel. Candidates should have relevant finance qualifications or significant experience, particularly in charity accounting.
Job Description
A varied role with a wonderful charity. The Finance Manager will help the charity stay financially resilient by giving financial advice and oversight. They will manage all aspects of the organisation's finances, from bookkeeping to reporting, and ensure everything follows legal and accounting rules. They will report to the Deputy CEO, they will manage a Bookkeeper and they will work closely with the CEO, Treasurer, senior managers, budget holders and external accountants.
You will either have a relevant finance qualification or at least 3 years of experience and/or working towards a qualification (help with study costs available) and ideally be a whizz on QuickBooks and Excel.
Month-end accounting, VAT returns, charity accounting knowledge and experience working in a small organisation would all be ideal!
