Job summary

Sacred Heart Grammar School in Newry invites applications for the Finance Manager to join a professional school community. You will be responsible to the Principal for managing financial affairs, budgetary control, the school estate, administration, and non-teaching personnel, including the canteen.

This permanent, full-time post (36 hours per week) offers a structured pattern and a start date of 14 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial affairs and budgetary control for the school
• Oversee general administration, the school estate and canteen operations
• Directly report to the Principal and supervise non-teaching personnel

Finance Manager

The Finance Manager plays a key role in the management of the school and the school canteen and is directly responsible to the Principal for the management of financial affairs, budgetary control, general administration, the school estate and all Non-Teaching personnel.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) 36 hours per week

Working Pattern: 8.30 am-4.30 pm Monday-Thursday, 8.30 am-4.10 pm Friday.
