Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is hiring a Finance Manager for our Rugby manufacturing facility. You will oversee production costs, budgeting, CAPEX projects and financial controls to support operational decisions.

You will partner with operations, monitor capacity, analyze variances, manage inventory valuation, and deliver regular reports to finance leadership. Strong SAP CO/PS experience and Advanced Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience in cost controlling and/or project controlling within manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of cost accounting principles and CAPEX management.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical abilities.
• Collaborative communication across diverse teams.

• Prepare factory budgets and forecasts; analyze variances vs plan.

• Maintain internal controls and support audits.

Job description

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing, reviewing, and controlling production costs and liquidation within the Rugby manufacturing facility. In this role, you will partner closely with operations to track factory-related projects, foster financial transparency, and support alignment with broader business objectives.Key Responsibilities1. Cost Monitoring & AnalysisTrack and examine manufacturing costs (raw materials, labor, overhead).Calculate annual capacity and hourly ratesReview actual load and productivity vs plansIdentify cost variances between standard and actual costs.Assess discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.2. Budgeting & MTP ForecastingPrepare and coordinate factory budgets and forecasts.Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.Support financial planning and cost optimization initiatives.3. Factory Project & capex ControllingTrack and guide financials of factory projects (including commercial projects, CAPEX, improvement initiatives, industrialization projects).Track project budgets, actual costs, and forecasts, support regions’ Quarterly Project ReviewConduct variance analysis on project spending and timelines.Ensure proper cost allocation and capitalization rules (CAPEX vs OPEX).Support project managers with financial insights and business case validation.Evaluate ROI, payback, and financial feasibility of investment projects.4. ReportingProduce regular cost, liquidation and project reportsDeliver actionable insights to plant management and finance leadership.Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.5. Inventory ControlMonitor inventory levels and valuation (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).Ensure accuracy of stock records and support physical inventory counts.Review slow-moving or obsolete inventory.6. Cost Control & Continuous ImprovementIdentify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.Monitor and Review efficiency and productivity metrics (productive & non-productive hours etc.) for Rugby FactorySupport lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Build financial awareness across the production teams.7. Compliance & Internal ControlsEnsure compliance with financial policies and procedures.Maintain strong internal controls over cost and project-related processes.Support internal and external audits.8.
