A UK public organisation seeks a Finance Manager responsible for effective finance services, ensuring efficient management accounting operations. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of an effective finance service which supports the organisation. This includes a professional management accounting service, and the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of PHSO's financial accounting systems .
You will have proven experience of supporting an organisation in management accounting in the public sector, as well as experience of public sector financial management and accounting requirements. You will actively encourage, and support the development of self and others, be motivating with the ability to empower others to achieve organisational goals.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an analytical approach to situations, diagnosing problems, to establish and evaluate alternative courses of action and produce practical solutions . The post holder is required to be a qualified member of a CCAB or equivalent accountancy body with a substantial post qualifying experience. Knowledge of or experience working within Central Government would be an advantage.
