We are looking to hire a Finance Manager – Global Entities who will be responsible for managing the full finance function for our international entities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, effective cash flow management, and strong financial controls across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously while coordinating with the broader finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Accounting

  • Oversee the end-to-end finance function for global entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting and monthly billing schedules.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and working papers for review by the Finance Director.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local tax regulations.
  • Manage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and currency adjustments.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and oversee cash flow forecasting for global entities.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Produce detailed monthly financial reports for the Finance Director, highlighting key insights and trends.
  • Support the consolidation of financial results across all entities.
  • Work closely with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors to meet local statutory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely VAT, GST, and other tax filings for international jurisdictions.

Business Partnering & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with the finance team to align financial processes and reporting structures.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency in global finance operations.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for international entities.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a finance role with exposure to global entities, consolidations, and multi-currency accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards across different jurisdictions.
  • Experience with transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and tax compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial management systems, Xero desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with international stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to work independently.
