Sewell Wallis is recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a dynamic manufacturing, retail, and logistics company based in Rotherham. The business is experiencing consistent growth and is committed to internal progression, training, and development.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking South Yorkshire company that values its staff. As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial and strategic insights to influence business decisions and identify profit improvement opportunities. You will manage day-to-day responsibilities for assigned P&L, analyze underlying results and trends, and communicate insights to stakeholders and the senior team.

What will you be doing?

1. Supporting and challenging the business to maximize value in the short and long term.
2. Preparing detailed analysis, drawing conclusions, and presenting recommendations.
3. Collaborating on rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans with a focus on insightful review and commentary.
4. Supporting the preparation and review of large tenders for key customers and suppliers.
5. Leading finance contributions to quarterly cost reviews.
6. Managing intra-business charges within your P&L areas of responsibility.

What skills are we looking for?

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with a strong academic background.
• Experience in a commercial, business-facing role.
• Advanced skills in modeling, analysis, and numerical reasoning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Knowledge of SAP S4 & IBM TM1 systems is desirable but not essential.
