Job description

We are partnering with a leading multinational tech company in their search for an experienced Finance Manager. This is a 6-month temporary role based in Feltham, offering hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office, and a daily rate of £310 to £350 for the right candidate.

As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the Record to Report (R2R) figures for entities across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, ensuring compliance with both local GAAP and US GAAP. You will provide accounting oversight and work closely with both internal teams and third-party professional firms such as external auditors.

Role responsibilities:
  • Ownership of R2R Reporting: Oversee and manage Record to Report figures for UK, Ireland, and Nordic entities, ensuring compliance with both local GAAP and US GAAP.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary escalation point for accounting issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Statutory & Tax Compliance: Prepare and file local GAAP financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
  • Balance Sheet & Business Unit Reviews: Conduct periodic balance sheet reviews and collaborate with business leaders for accurate financial reporting.
  • Audit Oversight: Lead compliance audits, including external audits and internal controls (ICS, GRC, SOX), ensuring all financial statements are signed off.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal finance teams (Tax, Treasury, FP&A) and external auditors, coordinating reporting and dispute resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and scalability opportunities, managing changes in financial models and policies as needed.
The right candidate will have:
  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally gained in an international, cross-functional environment.
  • Extensive experience preparing financial statements, including a strong understanding of US GAAP, local regulations, and IFRS requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of financial regulations related to books and records, with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to engage with and manage relationships with local authorities.
