Job Title: Finance Manager

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our catering and client services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. If you have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for the catering industry, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

• Operate in a finance business partner role, supporting Operations Directors to manage their business and achieve ambitious financial targets.
• Use trend analysis and forecasting techniques to highlight risks and opportunities in a timely manner to maximize benefits to the business.
• Provide support and training to operational teams to ensure Operations Managers and Location Managers can maximize operational efficiency of their teams and contracts.
• Identify and implement initiatives to deliver sustainable operational improvements.
• Control the month-end process and provide timely and informative financial and operational information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work effectively as part of a team of 10 finance business partners.
• Participate in internal annual budget setting for regions and overheads.

Qualifications

• A lively, outgoing personality.
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA).
• Proven ability to work with and analyze large data sets.
• Experience in a multi-site retail business, ideally within food service/catering, but this isn’t essential.
• A motivated, self-starter with a pro-active approach to work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills—comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal settings.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong commercial mindset.
• A passion for delivering improvement.
