About the Role

We exclusively partnered with a prestigious privately owned real estate investment and development company based in central London in their search for a Finance Manager to join its close-knit team. This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional with a background in property finance who is looking to take ownership of a broad and hands-on finance function. You will play a key part in managing the financial operations of a diversified portfolio of central London assets. This includes everything from financial reporting and budgeting, to compliance, cash flow, and investment support. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management accounts and month-end reporting
  • Statutory compliance including VAT, CIS, ATED returns, and liaison with HMR
  • Year-end audit support and journal entries
  • Managing AP/AR, reconciliations, and internal controls
  • Cash flow forecasting across multiple SPVs and group entities
  • Assisting with financial modelling, investment appraisals, and acquisition due diligence
  • Supporting budgeting, variance analysis, and performance tracking
  • Liaising with lenders, monitoring covenants, and managing debt compliance
  • Driving finance system improvements and automation initiatives
Minimum requirements:
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Experience in a similar finance role, ideally within real estate or commercial property
  • Solid knowledge of UK property structures such as SPVs, JVs, and REITs
  • Strong Excel; financial modelling skills is an asset
  • Experience with accounting/property systems like MRI or Horizon is a plus
