Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a London-based organisation to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to take a lead role in financial reporting, planning and control across a multi-entity group.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, group consolidation, and financial reporting across all entities.
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and FRS 102 standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies and procedures.
  • Oversee cash management and support forecasting and treasury activities.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to support senior management decision-making.
  • Manage the statutory accounts process and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and internal processes.
The successful Finance Manager will possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
