Finance Manager
Hybrid After 6 Month Probation to a maximum of 2 days a week remote
Central London
£55,000 DOE

Our client, an established medical practice located in the prestigious Harley Street district, Central London, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. The practice provides premium healthcare services and expert consultations across a range of specialities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage financial accounts and fixed assets
  2. Oversee accounts payable and receivable
  3. Prepare cash flow reports and balance sheet controls
  4. Lead audit and compliance activities, liaising with external auditors
  5. Manage payroll processes
  6. Produce detailed profit and loss analyses
  7. Interpret financial accounts and revenue capture, preferably with private clinic or hospital experience
  8. Develop budgets and forecasts for 2025/2026 activity and revenue
  9. Demonstrate a solid understanding of insurance billing and contracts
  10. Provide accurate, reliable financial data to support management decision-making
  11. Prioritise workload effectively and manage pressure
  12. Support additional finance functions such as bank reconciliations as required

Candidate Profile:

  1. Qualified accountant with 1-3 years post-qualification experience
  2. Strong background in financial governance, policies, and procedures
  3. Experience working with external auditors essential
  4. Experience in the private healthcare sector and liaising with insurance companies is essential
  5. Excellent organisational and communication skills
