A leading College Group in Merseyside is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership in financial management. You will ensure compliance, oversee financial planning and reporting, and lead a finance team. Ideal candidates should be qualified finance professionals with substantial experience in financial management. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a leading College Group in Merseyside. This is a pivotal role, responsible for providing both strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of the Group's finance function - ensuring robust financial management, effective systems, and accurate, timely reporting.
As a key member of the College Management Team (CMT), you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the College's strategic plan and objectives, contributing to the success of both the College and its subsidiary undertakings, including the North West Training Council.
You will be a qualified (or part-qualified) finance professional (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in financial management, preferably within the education or not-for-profit sector. You'll have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
