The Role:

  • We are seeking a proactive and skilled Finance Manager - Schools Support to join our Finance and Resources Directorate. This is a pivotal role for a qualified or part-qualified finance professional who will lead the delivery of high-quality financial management services to maintained schools, nurseries, and extended school provisions across the city
  • As a Finanance Manager - Schools Support you will play a central role in supporting school leaders with budget planning, financial monitoring, and strategic decision-making, while also managing a team of finance officers and ensuring compliance with statutory and professional standards
