Job description

Due to a recent internal promotion, a successful, well-established, medium-sized business based in Southeast London is seeking an ACCA/CIMA-qualified Finance Manager to join the team permanently. This role offers hybrid working, two days working from home following probation.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, overseeing and supervising a growing team, the Finance Manager will:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts with commentaries.
  • Support the short/medium/long-term budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis.
  • Oversee the company's treasury function.
  • Provide real-time profitability analysis and report on any factors or market trends that may affect the company's performance.
  • Perform cost control reviews.
  • Supervise junior members of the finance team.
  • Design and implement procedures that will increase effectiveness.
  • Act as a finance business partner to internal stakeholders, building strong working relationships.

This is a great opportunity for an ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant looking to progress their career. Five years of management/financial accounting experience in a similar position is a prerequisite, coupled with proven experience in managing a large team and first-rate finance systems skills. Advanced MS Excel skills are essential. There will be an MS Excel test as part of the interview process.
