About the Role

ER Recruitment is pleased to be working with our client on an exclusive basis to recruit for this brand new, exciting role based on the north side of Leicester. The team needs a supportive and encouraging manager who will allow them to work independently but also be a good sounding board.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
  • Support the wider proficient finance team with queries, ensuring deadlines are met, and assist during peak periods or absences.
  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning and analysis.
  • Manage month and year-end routines in collaboration with the team.
  • Perform reconciliations and analysis as required.
  • Manage working capital and produce forecasts as needed.
  • Conduct costing exercises and analyze relevant financial data.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Finance Director, providing business information.
  • Assist with some of the Finance Director’s administrative tasks.
About You
  • Experience in manufacturing or production industries.
  • Previous experience managing a small support team.
  • A hands-on leader who is willing to 'muck in' with the team and aims to progress into a Financial Controller role with potential for further growth.
  • CIMA qualification preferred.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Discretion, trustworthiness, and confidence.
