Search in Leeds is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage the finance function and deliver robust financial reporting.

The role covers monthly management accounts, forecasting, cash flow, compliance, and developing the finance team. Hybrid working options and a competitive salary of 50,000 per annum are on offer, along with pension, bonus potential

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience as Finance Manager or senior finance role.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel and finance systems experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence.
• Proactive with ability to manage multiple priorities.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our growing team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision–making, and leading day–to–day financial operations.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, and delivering accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets.
• Oversee the month–end and year–end close processes.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insightful analysis to senior management.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem–solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
