Job summary

Trinity Academy Leeds is seeking a Finance Manager to join the founding team as it grows. You will provide a professional, efficient administrative service across the academy, with a focus on the Finance Team, ensuring processes run smoothly and in line with governance and financial controls.

The role offers opportunities for development, with term-time considerations for the right candidate and added recognition through the recruitment and retention allowance for outstanding applicants.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level, equivalent professional qualification or experience in a similar role.
• A track record of recent, relevant professional development.
• Previous relevant experience of financial management and/or business operations management.
• Knowledge and understanding of the payroll function.
• Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines.

Scale SO2 / PO1 Actual salary £38,510-£42,123 (includes pending pay award)

37 hours per week, All Year Round (Term Time Only will be considered for the right candidate)

This is an exciting time to join the founding team of an outstanding school, Trinity Academy Leeds as it continues to grow and develop. Trinity Academy Leeds opened its doors in September 2021 to 240 students from across the city and has already established a strong culture of excellence where all staff are united under the same shared mission, to enrich and strengthen the life choices and chances of the young people in east Leeds and beyond. Our school is coming into its sixth year and currently has 1200 students on roll. We had our first Ofsted inspection in May 2024 and achieved ‘outstanding in all areas’.

We are now looking for a Finance Manager to join the Team. You will provide a professional, efficient administrative service across the academy, and particularly the Finance Team.
