Manager - Core Finance & Executive Search

Location: Leeds or London (hybrid working)

We are recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of a complex group to take ownership of Revenue and Cost of Sales Accounting within one of their fast-paced and commercially-focused UK divisions. This is a key role with exposure to senior leadership and a direct impact on gross margin performance.

If you're a qualified accountant looking to work across functions, lead reporting improvements, and influence business decisions - this could be your next move.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and timely revenue and cost of sales accounting across multiple UK business units
• Manage intercompany transactions and ensure alignment with business operations
• Analyse gross margin and explain variances against budget and KPIs
• Partner with FP&A to align accounting with operational performance insights
• Investigate discrepancies in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and IT teams
• Use systems including SAGE, Workday, AMCS, and BI dashboards for reporting and analysis
• Ensure robust balance sheet controls and accruals
• Present results to senior stakeholders (FC, FD, CFO)
• Support the budgeting process and external audit
• Play a key role in embedding a new ERP system
• Manage and develop one direct report (Management Accountant)

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong financial control experience across P&L and balance sheet
• Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
• Experience in industry & commerce preferred
