Job description

A remarkable opportunity for a part-qualified (CIMA preferably) ambitious accountant has arisen for a Management Accountant for a fast-paced role within a well established Manufacturing company in Lancaster. With superb commuter links to the M6 this position has real potential to grow into an FC role within the next 5 years with support from a dynamic FD. The ideal candidate will have strong career goals along with strong academic background.

Responsibilities as Management Accountant will include :

• Prepare monthly management accounts and present to the FD along with detailed analysis
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets
• Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.]
• Oversee cash flow management
• Complete VAT returns
• Liaise with auditors for quarterly and annual monitoring

As Management Accountant you will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to communicate with key stakeholders in the business.
