Overview

Location: Kirkby Lonsdale hybrid working 2-3 days in the office depending on distance to the office

Kasmir Associates are recruiting on behalf of an exciting supplier of products to the hospitality sector, with three growing brands and ambitious plans to scale to £10m+ turnover.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager who wants to play a key role in shaping a dynamic SME. Reporting directly into the business owner, you ll have exposure to both day-to-day finance and strategic decision-making, working closely with the leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead financial control, reporting, and cashflow forecasting.
  • Financial planning
  • Preparing annual budgets
  • Assist owners with making strategic decisions on the growth of the company
  • Provide financial insight to support growth and expansion (including international).
  • Strengthen systems and processes (Xero + supporting platforms).
  • Support cross-functional projects supply chain, HR, sustainability, and IT.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, embedding finance across the business.
  • General bookkeeping including credit control, raising invoices and payroll
  • Management reporting
  • VAT returns
  • Implementing and maintaining robust financial processes and internal controls
Qualifications
  • Qualified or part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA preferred), if part qualified they're looking for someone with plans to complete qualifications to fully qualified (which the company will support)
  • Ideally 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or product-based businesses ideal but not essential
  • Strong cashflow and forecasting skills.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and confident working with leadership.
